Removal & Installation: Disposal
CAUTION:
- DO NOT disassemble the strut damper or place it into a fire.
- Make a hole with drill strut damper disposal of strut.
- Before handling gas filled struts, be sure to wear goggles to protect eyes from gas, oil and/or fillings.
- Place the gas filled strut on a flat and level surface with piston rod fully extended.
- Using a .08-.12" (2-3 mm) diameter drill, make a hole in position shown in Fig 1.
