Entertainment Systems: Antenna: Inspection

Measure resistance between antenna terminal and each antenna wire.

If an antenna wire is OK, resistance will be less than 1 ohm. If an antenna wire is broken, resistance will be more than 1 Mohm.

NOTE: When measuring resistance, wind a piece of tin foil around tester probe tip and press foil against the wire with your finger.

To locate a broken point, move probe along antenna wire.
