Removal & Installation: Starter: Removal

  1. Disconnect ground cable from battery.
  2. Remove air cleaner case for non-turbo model. See AIR CLEANER CASE  .
  3. Remove intercooler for turbo model. See INTERCOOLER  .
  4. Remove air cleaner case stay. See Fig 1 .
  5. Disconnect connector and terminal from starter. See Fig 2 .
  6. Remove starter from transmission.
