SUBARU Select Monitor (SSM) Procedure: Notes

  1. Connect diagnosis cable to Subaru Select Monitor.
  2. Insert appropriate diagnostic cartridge into Subaru Select Monitor.
  3. Connect Subaru Select Monitor to data link connector.
    4. CAUTION: Do not connect scan tools except for Subaru Select Monitor and OBD-II generic scan tool.
  4. Turn ignition on (engine "OFF") and Subaru Select Monitor switch to "ON".
  5. Using Subaru Select Monitor, call up diagnostic trouble code(s) and various data, then record them. See READING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  .
