Section 180 (Engine Cooling System (H4DOTC)): Thermostat: Installation

Install the thermostat in water pump, and then install the thermostat cover together with a gasket.
NOTE:
- When reinstalling the thermostat, use a new gasket.
- The thermostat must be installed with the jiggle pin (A) facing to front side.
Tightening torque:

12 N.m (1.2 kgf-m, 8.7 ft-lb)

Fill engine coolant. Refer to ENGINE COOLANT .
