Inhibitor Switch
Disconnect inhibitor switch harness connector. Check continuity between terminals No. 7 and 12 of inhibitor switch. See Fig 1 . With gearshift lever in Park or Neutral, continuity should exist. With gearshift lever in any other position, no continuity should exist. If continuity is not as specified, replace inhibitor switch. If resistance is as specified, inhibitor switch is okay.
