DTC P1142: Throttle Position (TP) Sensor Circuit Range/Performance Problem (Low Input)

Perform basic diagnostic procedure. See BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE  . If DTC P0122 or P0123 exist, diagnose and repair affected DTC. Do not diagnose P1142. If DTC P1142 is only DTC set, replace throttle position sensor. Clear memory and perform verification procedure. See CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  and VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  .
