Inhibitor Switch: Removal

- Set the vehicle on a lift.
- Move the range select lever to neutral position.
- Remove the air cleaner case (Non-turbo model). See REMOVAL , Air Cleaner Case.
- Remove the intercooler (Turbo model). See REMOVAL , Intercooler.
- Disconnect the inhibitor switch connector.
- Remove the inhibitor switch connector from stay.
- Lift up the vehicle.
- Remove the front exhaust pipe together with the center exhaust pipe (Non-turbo model). See REMOVAL , Front Exhaust Pipe.
- Remove the center exhaust pipe (Turbo model). See REMOVAL , Center Exhaust Pipe.
- Remove the snap pin and washer from range select lever.
- Remove the plate assembly from transmission case.
- Remove the bolts.
- Move the range select lever to parking position (left side).
- Remove the inhibitor switch from transmission.
- Disconnect the inhibitor switch harness connector from inhibitor switch.
