Mil Does Not Go Out

Turn ignition off and disconnect ECM harness connector B134 (35-pin connector), connector B137 (31-pin connector) on Outback 3.0L. Turn ignition on. If MIL light illuminates, repair short in circuit between ECM and instrument panel. If MIL light does not illuminate, replace ECM.
