DTC P0512: Starter Switch Circuit High Input

Perform basic diagnostic procedure. See BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE  . Place inhibitor switch in each position and attempt to start engine. If starter operates when ignition is turned on, locate and repair short to voltage in starter circuit. After repair, replace ECM. If starter does not operate when ignition is turned on, check starter circuit. Clear memory and perform verification procedure. See CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  and VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  .
