Parking Pawl: Installation

Install the parking pawl, shaft and return spring.

For the model without VTD, install the reduction drive gear. For the model with VTD, install the center differential gear assembly.
Without VTD: See INSTALLATION .

With VTD: See INSTALLATION .
Install the extension case to the transmission case.
CAUTION: Be sure to use a new gasket.
Install the rear vehicle speed sensor.
Tightening torque:
1. 7 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 5.1 ft-lb)
