Door Lock Switch

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove interior door trim panel. Disconnect power door lock switch harness connector. Remove door lock switch from trim panel.
  2. Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between switch terminals while operating switch in both directions. Continuity should exist when switch is pressed and ceased to exist when switch is released. Replace switch if continuity is not as specified.
