Vehicle Speed Sensor No. 2

Raise and support vehicle so drive wheels are off the ground. Start engine. Simulate driving vehicle at 12 MPH or greater. Set voltmeter to AC scale. Check voltage between vehicle speed sensor terminals No. 1 (Green/Black wire) and No. 2 (Black/Red wire). Voltage should be about 5 volts (AC). If voltage is greater than specified, replace cruise control module. If voltage is less than 5 volts, replace vehicle speed sensor No. 2.
