Front Differential: Disassembly

NOTE: Axle shafts must be installed in their original locations.
  1. Remove snap rings from axle shafts. Remove axle shafts. See Fig 1. Remove bolts and hypoid drive gear. Drive out pin from differential assembly.
  2. Remove pinion shaft, differential bevel pinions, differential bevel gears and washers. Remove roller bearings.
