Throttle Position (TP) Sensor

TP sensor consists of a potentiometer and an idle switch. TP sensor sends PCM a signal corresponding to throttle valve position. Idle switch signal occurs when throttle is near idle position. PCM uses these signals to control air/fuel ratio during acceleration, deceleration, and idle.
