Keyless Entry Control Module Power & Ground Supply
NOTE:
For keyless entry control module input/output signal, see Fig 1
.
- Check fuse No. 11 (20-amp), located in fuse panel near left kick panel. Replace as necessary. If fuse is okay, disconnect 12-pin fuse block harness connector. Check voltage between ground and fuse block harness connector terminal No. 9 (Yellow/Green wire). If voltage is greater than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltage is not greater than 10 volts, repair circuit between fuse block and battery. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Disconnect keyless entry control module harness connector. Check voltage between ground and keyless entry control module harness connector terminal No. 3 (Yellow/Green wire). If voltage is greater than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltage is not greater than 10 volts, repair circuit between keyless entry control module and fuse block. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Check resistance between ground and keyless entry control harness connector terminal No. 8 (Black wire). If resistance is less than 10 ohms, perform BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES (KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM) . If resistance is not less than 10 ohms, repair circuit between keyless entry control module and ground. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
