DTC P0600: Serial Communication Link Malfunction

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect PCM connector. Check resistance of harness between PCM connector terminal No. 93 and Data Link Connector (DLC) terminal No. 10 (Green/Black wire). If resistance is more than one ohm, repair open in wiring between PCM and DLC connector. If resistance is one ohm or less, go to next step.
  2. Check resistance of harness between PCM connector terminal No. 93 (Green/Black wire) and ground. If resistance is 10 ohms or less, repair short in harness between PCM and DLC connectors. If resistance is more than 10 ohms, check for poor terminal contact in PCM or DLC connectors. Repair as necessary.
