A/C System Performance

  1. Park vehicle out of direct sunlight and wind. Start and run engine at 1500 RPM. Close vehicle doors. Open front windows and engine hood.
  2. Turn A/C on. Select vent mode, and set blower fan switch to high speed position. Operate system for 10 minutes to allow system to stabilize. Ensure low and high side pressures are within specifications. See A/C SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS  table at beginning of article.
