Passive Arming

  1. Cycle ignition switch ON to OFF. Exit vehicle. Ensure all doors and trunk are securely closed. System should arm 27 seconds after dome light goes out.
  2. Open door. Parking lights should flash as soon as door was opened. System should sound horn 17 seconds after door was opened. Allow system to passively arm once again. Open trunk lid and alarm should sound immediately.
  3. Allow system to passively set again. Open door and turn ignition switch to ON position. System should disarm.
