Active Arming

  1. Secure all doors and trunk lid. Actively arm system by pressing remote transmitter button. System should arm itself and lock doors. Arming is signaled by parking lights flashing and horn sounding once.
  2. Unlock and open door. Alarm should sound immediately when door is opened. Attempt to start engine. Engine should not start. Disarm system by depressing remote transmitter bottom, alarm should shut off.
  3. Actively arm system again. Open trunk lid and alarm should sound immediately. Disarm system again. Roll down driver window and close all doors and trunk lid. Actively arm system again. Reach through driver window and press main switch OFF. Alarm should sound immediately. Disarm system again.
