Door Lock
- Disconnect door lock tamper switch harness connector. Check continuity between terminals. SeeFig 1
. If continuity does not exist between any terminals, go to next step. If continuity exists between any terminals, replace door lock tamper switch.
- Insert key into door lock cylinder. Turn key to lock position and check continuity between terminals No. 1 and 4. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, replace door lock tamper switch.
- Turn key to unlock position and check continuity between terminals No. 2 and 4. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, replace door lock tamper switch.
- Remove door lock tamper switch from lock cylinder. Check continuity between terminals No. 3 and 4. If continuity does not exist, replace door lock tamper switch. If continuity exists, door lock tamper switch is okay at this time.
