Door Lock

  1. Disconnect door lock tamper switch harness connector. Check continuity between terminals. SeeFig 1 . If continuity does not exist between any terminals, go to next step. If continuity exists between any terminals, replace door lock tamper switch.
  2. Insert key into door lock cylinder. Turn key to lock position and check continuity between terminals No. 1 and 4. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, replace door lock tamper switch.
  3. Turn key to unlock position and check continuity between terminals No. 2 and 4. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, replace door lock tamper switch.
  4. Remove door lock tamper switch from lock cylinder. Check continuity between terminals No. 3 and 4. If continuity does not exist, replace door lock tamper switch. If continuity exists, door lock tamper switch is okay at this time.
