Trouble Shooting

  1. Turn ignition switch to ACC or IGN position. Check fuse No. 3. If fuse is okay, turn ignition switch off. Remove switch from instrument panel by prying outward. Disconnect switch harness connector. Turn ignition switch to ACC or RUN position. Check voltage at switch harness connector terminal No. 4. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH CONNECTOR TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION  . See Figure , Figure or Figure . If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair wiring as necessary.
  2. Turn ignition switch off. Measure resistance between ground and switch harness connector terminal No. 2. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH CONNECTOR TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION  . If resistance is 10 ohms or greater, repair open in Black wire. If resistance is 10 ohms or less, go to COMPONENT TESTS  .
