Cruise Control Systems: Adjustments: Linkage

1. Ensure cruise control cable is attached to left of accelerator cable (on accelerator side). Ensure that accelerator cable throttle cam does not move when cruise control throttle cam is moved by hand. Ensure throttle cam moves smoothly.
2. Ensure throttle cam-to-lever clearance is 0.04" (1 mm). SeeFig 1 . If clearance is incorrect, adjust cable at its outer end. Ensure cap is positioned in groove. Ensure cable deflects 0.04-0.31" (1-8 mm).
