Removal & Installation

  1. Ensure ignition is off. Locate ABS electronic control unit (control unit) under right side of front passenger seat. Fold back carpet between door sill and seat to expose ABS control unit. See Figure . Remove screws retaining ABS control unit bracket to floor.
  2. To unplug ABS control unit connector, remove screw from end of connector opposite of harness end. Slide harness rubber boot backward over harness. Slide plastic connector cover away from harness end of connector, and remove cover. To install, reverse removal procedure.
