Description & Operation

With the ignition switch in RUN position, battery voltage is applied to the pull-in coil side of the power window relay, located under the left side of driver's seat. The relay provides switched battery voltage to all system switches and motors. Individual switches, when operated, provide a ground path for the motors in the window selected. All power window switches and motors ground through the driver's master switch. Master switch includes lock-out feature to prevent passengers from operating any of the other power window door switches, by isolating the other switches from the ground path. The master power window switch offers one-touch operation of driver's window.
