Ignition Systems: DISTRIBUTORLESS: SVX

Distributorless ignition system is controlled by ECM. System consists of 6 ignition coils mounted directly on spark plugs, 2 knock sensors, and 2 crankshaft position sensors.

ECM determines ignition timing from signal from crank angle sensor, and sends signal to ignitor to create a spark at cylinder which is in firing position.
