Control Unit

Control unit contains a microcomputer, which monitors electrical system components and connections. Control unit performs a system self-check of internal circuits every time ignition switch is turned to RUN position. Control unit also energizes SRS readiness indicator light (AIR BAG warning light) during initial system self-check and whenever a fault is detected. The faults are translated into coded light and displayed through AIR BAG warning light.
