Differential Assembly: Disassembly

  1. Remove bolts and ring gear. Remove differential side gear adjusting washer from ring gear side and keep separate from other adjusting washers.
  2. Remove roll pin from differential case and remove differential pinion shaft. Remove differential pinions, differential side gears and adjusting washer.
  3. Using Puller Assembly (399703600) and Seat (39952015), remove left and right ball bearings from differential case. Remove snap ring and drive ball bearing from clutch housing.
