Control Valve Body: Reassembly
- Install shift lock piston, spacer and pressure regulator valve. Position plunger. Assemble linkage guide, roller assembly and low-speed support, and install assembly on control valve body with spacer. See Figure.
- Install low-speed spring using a thin plate. Ensure small pitched end faces plunger. DO NOT
scratch control valve body. Install shift control valve, high-speed spring, high-speed support and spring. Install side plate and tighten bolts to 13-18 INCH lbs. (1.5-2.0 N.m). Position spring and install shift lock lever and shaft. Install spring pin and snap ring.
- Install engine brake valve, spring and engine brake sleeve. Install straight-pin while pushing aluminum portion of engine brake valve. Install shift control pin and position lever. While pressing engine brake lever down, position engine brake support in engine brake valve and lock with snap ring.
- Install shift control lever and shift cam. Install steel balls, springs, shift lock valve, straight-pin and separator plate. Set spring guide in position and install solenoid valve. Tighten bolts to 26-35 INCH lbs. (2.9-3.9 N.m).
- Adjust shift lock valve by screwing in stud until shift lock valve lightly contacts separator plate. Turn stud another 1/8-1/4 rotation and tighten nut to 14-19 INCH lbs. (1.6-2.1 N.m). See Fig 1.
- Install pressure regulator spring and guide. Attach Control Valve Holder (499205600) to control valve body. If pressure regulator valve guide was replaced with a new part, check line pressure. See 00TROUBLE SHOOTING .
