Fuel Pressure: Subaru

  1. Relieve fuel system pressure. Disconnect fuel hose at pressure regulator and install fuel pressure gauge using "T" fitting.
  2. Start engine and check fuel pressure at idle. On SPFI models, fuel pressure should be 20-24 psi (1.4-1.7 kg/cm2 ). On MPFI models, fuel pressure should be 26-30 psi (1.8-2.1 kg/cm2 ). Increase engine RPM and make sure fuel pressure increases.
