  1. Insert a thickness gauge between stopper screw of throttle body and stopper arm. Check for continuity between terminals No. 3 and No. 4 on XT models ("A" and "C" on Wagon, Coupe and Sedan models). See Fig 1 and Fig 2 .
  2. Make sure that terminals No. 3 and No. 4 on XT models ("A" and "C" on Wagon, Coupe and Sedan models) are conducting when throttle is closed fully. Make sure that terminals No. 3 and No. 4 on XT models ("A" and "C" on Wagon, Coupe and Sedan models) are conducting when thickness of gauge is .022" (.55 mm). This corresponds to a throttle opening of 1.5 degrees.
  3. Make sure that terminals No. 3 and No. 4 on XT models ("A" and "C" on Wagon, Coupe and Sedan models) are not conducting when feeler gauge thickness is .362" (.92 mm). This corresponds to a Throttle opening of 2.5 degrees. If specifications are not as specified, loosen 2 screws securing throttle switch to throttle body. Turn throttle switch main body until correct adjustment is obtained.
