Instrument Panel - Standard: Operation

On Standard and DL Hatchback models, fuel and temperature gauges use a regulated 7 volt supply to ensure accurate readings. The voltage regulator is in the fuel gauge. The oil pressure gauge does not have a regulated voltage supply and operates on 12 volts. On all models, the gauges use variable-resistance sending units.
