Clutch Assembly: Installation
- Reverse removal procedure to complete installation. Using molybdenum disulphide grease, lubricate the following: inner groove of release bearing, contact surface of fork and pivot, contact surface of fork and holder and transmission main shaft splines.
- Using clutch disc alignment tool (499747000 ), place disc and pressure plate in position on flywheel. Ensure that there is a gap of 120° or more between "O" balance marks on flywheel and pressure plate. Tighten bolts to 10.50-12.70 ft. lbs. (14.2-17.2 N.m) gradually in a criss-cross pattern. Adjust clutch pedal free play.
