Temperature Control Dial

  1. Start engine and allow it to reach operating temperature. Set center ventilator control lever to "OFF" position.
  2. Set air distribution control lever to "HEAT" position, fan motor control to low speed and temperature control dial to "COLD" position. Check that outside air temperature and air from floor vents are at same temperature.
  3. Set air distribution control lever to "DEF" position, fan motor control to highest speed and temperature control dial to "HOT" position. Check that hot air comes from defroster vents.
