Air Distribution Control Lever

  1. Start engine and set temperature control lever to "COLD" position. Set center ventilator control lever to "OFF" position. Set fan motor control to highest speed position.
  2. Position air distribution control lever to "A/C" position. Air should flow from center and side vents only. Check for air leakage at defroster or floor vents.
  3. Position air distribution control lever to "HEAT" position. Air should mainly come from floor vents and a small amount from defroster vents. Check for air leakage at center and side vents.
  4. Position air distribution control lever to "DEF" position. Air should come from defroster vents only. Check for air leakage at other vents.
