SUBARU Air Suction System: Description

The air suction system reduces HC and CO emissions during low-speed and light-load engine operating conditions by supplying additional air to the exhaust ports. The system consists of an air suction valve (with internal reed valves), a muffler (silencer) and connecting tubing.
