Pressure Reduction Test
- Ensure transmission is in Neutral and parking brake released. Place valve selector switch in "DYN" position. Turn valve switch to "Front L". Depress brake pedal. Left front wheel should be locked. If not, check master cylinder, brake caliper, pads and disc. Repair as necessary.
- With brake pedal still depressed, push and hold "P" button. Left front wheel should start to move then lock up. Pump motor should operate. Release brake pedal. Perform same test with valve switch in each position.
- If system fails any of these tests, check hydraulic modulator ground strap. If ground is okay, ensure brake lines from hydraulic modulator to each wheel are positioned correctly. Refer to Figure . If hydraulic modulator ground and brake lines are okay, replace hydraulic modulator.
