Remove/Install Front Seat Frame Covers - AR91.10-P-1200SR

  Remove/instaii outer cover (1)     
1 Adjust front seat to foremost position    
2 Adjust front seat to the uppermost position MODEL 453 with CODE S55 (Driver's seat) When working on the driver seat.  
3 Pry off adjusting lever (2) SPECIAL TOOL Mounting wedge Fig 1
4 Unscrew bolt (3)    
5 Detach outer cover (1) in the rear area NOTES Carefully detach outer cover (1).
Otherwise the guide tabs (10) may be damaged.
 
6 Release catch hook on pin (8) (arrows b) and push pin (8) of outer cover (1) out of guide in seat frame    
7 Remove outer cover (1) until the electrical connector (9) of the left front seat heater switch (S51/1) or the right front seat heater switch (S51/2) is accessible MODEL 453 with CODE 873 (heated seats)  
8 Disconnect electrical connector (9) MODEL 453 with CODE 873 (heated seats)  
9 Remove outer cover (1)    
10 Remove left front seat heater switch (S51/1) or right front seat heater switch (S51/2) from outer cover(1) MODEL 453 with CODE 873 (heated seats)
When replacing outer cover (1).
 
11 Install in the reverse order    
  Remove/install inner cover (11)     
12 Adjust front seat to the rearmost position    
13 Adjust front seat to the uppermost position MODEL 453 with CODE S55 (Driver's seat)
When working on the driver seat.
 
14 Unscrew screw/bolt (12)    
15 Detach inner cover (11) in the rear area NOTES Carefully detach inner cover (11).
Otherwise the guide tabs (14) may be damaged.
 
16 Push inner cover (11) down slightly in front area (arrow C)    
17 Remove inner cover (11) from seat frame    
18 Install in the reverse order
