Remove/Install Front Seat - AR91.10-P-1000SR

	Risk of injury  caused by performing testing or repair work on airbag or emergency tensioning retractor units.	Store airbag units with deployment side facing up; do not expose to temperatures greater than 100 °C. When working on these units, disconnect the power supply.	AS91.00-Z-0001-01A

	Remove/install
1	Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery		AR54.10-P-0003SR
2	Move steering column all the way forward and all the way up	Only when removing driver seat.
3	Adjust front seat (1) to front
4	Release rear seat rail covers (2) by pulling in direction of arrow (a) and detach to rear from seat rails	: Ensure that rear seat rail cover (2) is correctly seated.
5	Remove bolts (3)	Front seat on vehicle floor	*BA91.10-P-1001-01K
6	Position front seat (1) to rear
7	Detach front seat rail covers (4) in direction of arrow (b)
8	Remove screws (5)	: Before tightening, fasten all bolts (3, 5) on the seat tracks. Front seat on vehicle floor	*BA91.10-P-1001-01K
9	Tilt back front seat (1)
10	Disconnect electrical connectors (6, 7), unclip retaining clips (9) from electrical line (8) and place electrical line (8) to one side
11	Cover center console, door sill and steering wheel 000 588 08 98 00 Cover	Cover door sill and door sill molding with door sill protector.	WS98.00-P-0014B
12	Remove front seat (1) from the vehicle through the door cutout for the front door	Carefully remove front seat (1) with an assistant from the vehicle. Otherwise, component parts in the vehicle interior or the front door or entrance may cause damage. : Ensure that the lock pins for the seat rails are correctly seated in the vehicle floor.
13	Put down front seat (1) and secure it against tipping over
14	Install in the reverse order
