| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Place steering column in the central height position | MODEL 453 with CODE J37 (Steering column) | |
| 2 | Disconnect ground line at the on-board electrical system battery | AR54.10-P-0003SR | |
| 3 | Insert suitable tool into opening at markings (3) at left and right on steering wheel cover (4) and the push retaining clips (6) inward | ||
| 4 | Remove airbag unit on steering wheel (1) far enough from steering wheel (2) until electrical connector (5) is accessible | ||
| 5 | Disconnect electrical connector (5) and remove airbag unit (1) from steering wheel (2) | ||
| 6 | Install in the reverse order | ||
