Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant. | Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses. |

| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Remove maintenance flap | ||
| 2 | Screw cap onto expansion reservoir by half a turn, relieve overpressure then unscrew cap | ||
| 3 | Remove covering over engine | ||
| 4 | Remove air intake hose (4) | ||
| 5 | Disconnect electrical connection (1) on coolant temperature sensor (B11/4) | ||
| 6 | Pull out retaining clamp (2) | ||
| 7 | Pull coolant temperature sensor (B11/4) out of the connection fitting (3) | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 9 | Pour in coolant and bleed cooling system | AR20.00-P-1142SR | |

Connect diagnostic unit, read out fault memory | When replacing the coolant temperature sensor (B11/4). | AD00.00-P-2000-06SR |
