Remove/install coolant temperature sensor - AR15.60-P-2711MCU

ENGINE 132.910 in MODEL 451.3/4

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
DANGER Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing coolant. Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

1 Remove maintenance flap    
2 Turn cooling system cap on engine radiator a half turn counterclockwise, relieve the pressure and then unscrew the cooling system cap    
3 Remove interior flap above engine INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Only install Interior flap above engine after the leak test. AR88.40-P-1100-03MCC
4 Remove secondary air injection pump switchover valve (Y32) on holder(1) (arrow), and lay to the side    
5 Disconnect electrical connector (2) at coolant temperature sensor (B11/4)    
6 Remove coolant temperature sensor (B11/4) from cylinder head (3)    
    IMPORTANT Catch coolant in a suitable vessel.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Screw in coolant temperature sensor (B11/4) with sealant.
TORQUE SPECIFICATION
*BA15.60-P-1002-01B 
    Sealant *BR00.45-Z-1053-01A 
7 Install in the reverse order    
8 Pour in coolant   AR20.00-P-1142MCU
9 Read out fault memory, erase if necessary When replacing the coolant temperature sensor (B11/4).  
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory   AD00.00-P-2000-04MCC
DANGER Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

10 Conduct engine test run and check engine in the area of the coolant temperature sensor (B11/4) for leaks
