	Check
1	Check inside of windshield for damage	The windshield must not show any signs of damage in the inside. If there are problems: ↓ Replace windshield, subject to separate repair order.
2	Check peeling of the film off the glass panes in the windshield	Building of "air bubbles" between the glass pane and the film is a sign of the film peeling off the glass panes. If there are problems: ↓ Replace windshield, subject to separate repair order.
3	Check windshield on the outside in the long-range field of vision (hatched area) for damage and visibility-impairing scratches	The long-range field of vision has a width of 290 mm (11.42"), is centered around the center point of the steering wheel on the windshield, and is limited to the windscreen-wiper field above and below. If there are problems: ↓ Replace windshield, subject to separate repair order.
4	Check the windshield outside the long-range field of vision (hatched area) for damage	For damages with diameter of <_26_mm (1.02") and with a gap of > 100_mm (3.94") from the edge of the windshield: ↓ Repair windshield, subject to separate repair order. For damage with a diameter ≥ 26 mm (1.02 inch) or with a gap ≤ 100 mm (3.94 inch) from the edge of the windshield: ↓ Replace windshield, subject to separate repair order.
