Transport Mode
Transport mode includes:
- Limitation of maximum speed to 30 mph
- Deactivation of heating and air conditioning system
- Limited functionality of the fans (ON or OFF only)
All vehicles leave the factory with the transport mode activated. As part of the delivery inspection before handoff to customer, deactivate the transport mode using Xentry DAS.
After deactivating, check that air conditioning, heating and ventilation are all working.
PROCEDURE
- Deactivate the transport mode in the powertrain control unit (N127) via Xentry DAS. Select "Systems - N127 (powertrain control unit) - Control unit adaptations - Deactivate transport mode."
- Star transport mode deactivation and confirm deactivation with the F2 button.
- Conform transport mode deactivation
- After successfully deactivating, click OK in the information window.
- Please fill out the PDI sheet under Pre-Delivery Inspection menu entitled: SM-PDI-204-13.
