Electric steering torque sensor, component description - GF46.35-P-5100MCC

Location 

The torque sensor is located on the drag link and is integrated in the steering gear.

Task 

By turning the steering wheel a torque is produced in control rod which is read in by the torque sensor, converted into a voltage signal and passed on to the power steering control unit (N68).
