Inspection [07/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT PRESSURE CONTROL VALVE 
    1. Remove the pressure control valve.
      NOTE:

      Do not apply a pressure 36 kPa (0.37 kgf/cm2, 5.2 psi) or more. Doing so will damage the pressure control valve and evaporative hose.

    2. Apply a pressure of 36 kPa (0.37 kgf/cm2, 5.2 psi) to port A.

      *a Pressure
      *b Pressure Control Valve
      *c Port A
      *d Port B
    3. Verify that there is airflow from port B.
      • If there is no airflow, replace the pressure control valve.
