ACIS Control Circuit [01/2014 - ]: Procedure
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (OPERATE VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE FOR ACIS)
- Disconnect the vacuum hose from port F of the vacuum switching valve (for ACIS).
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Start the engine.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Active Test / Active the VSV for Intake Control.
- Operate the vacuum switching valve for ACIS.
- Check the vacuum switching valve air flow when switching the vacuum switching valve.

- CHECK VACUUM HOSES (VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE (FOR ACIS) - INTAKE AIR CONTROL VALVE, INTAKE MANIFOLD)
- Check the vacuum hoses. Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [05/2013 - ] - Step 1 .
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE VACUUM HOSES
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT INTAKE MANIFOLD (INTAKE AIR CONTROL VALVE)
- Inspect the intake air control valve. Refer to INSPECTION [05/2013 - ] .

OK → See step 7
- INSPECT VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY (FOR ACIS)
- Inspect the vacuum switching valve assembly (for ACIS). Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [05/2013 - ] .
NG → See step 8
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE (FOR ACIS) - ECM AND INTEGRATION RELAY)
- Disconnect the vacuum switching valve (for ACIS) connector.
- Disconnect the ECM connector.
- Remove the integration relay from the engine room relay block.
- Disconnect the integration relay connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [01/2014 - ]
- REPLACE VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY (FOR ACIS). Refer to REMOVAL [01/2014 - ]
- REPLACE INTAKE MANIFOLD. Refer to REMOVAL [01/2014 - ]
