How To Proceed With Troubleshooting [01/2014 - ]

HINT: 

• Use these procedures to troubleshoot the power window control system.

1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 

   NEXT: Go to next step 

2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 

   Standard voltage

   11 to 14 V

   If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

   NEXT: Go to next step 

3. CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
   1. Check if the LIN communication system is functioning normally.
      RESULT
      
      

      Result	Proceed to
      LIN DTC is not output	A
      LIN DTC is output	B

      B → GO TO LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [01/2014 - ] 

      A: Go to next step 

4. CHECK FOR DTC* 
   1. Clear the DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [05/2013 - ] .
   2. Recheck for DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [05/2013 - ] .
      RESULT

      No DTCs are output	A
      DTC B2311, B2312 or B2313 is output	B

      B → GO TO DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [01/2014 - ]  

      A: Go to next step 

5. PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE 
   1. Refer to Problem Symptoms Table. Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [01/2014 - ] .

      Fault listed in problem symptoms table	B

      B → ADJUST, REPAIR OR REPLACE IN ACCORDANCE WITH PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE

6. OVERALL ANALYSIS AND TROUBLESHOOTING* 
   1. Operation Check. Refer to OPERATION CHECK [05/2013 - ] .
   2. Terminals of ECU. Refer to TERMINALS OF ECU [01/2014 - ] .
   3. Data List / Active Test. Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [05/2013 - ] .

      NEXT: Go to next step 

7. REPAIR OR REPLACE

   Power window regulator motor assembly LH replaced or removed/installed	A
   Power window regulator motor assembly LH not replaced or removed/installed	B

8. RESET POWER WINDOW REGULATOR 
   1. If a power window regulator switch LED is blinking, initialize the power window regulator. Refer to FAIL-SAFE CHART [05/2013 - ] .

      NEXT: Go to next step 

9. CONFIRMATION TEST 

   NEXT → END
