VC Output Circuit: Procedure
- CHECK MIL CONDITION
- Check that the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) lights up when turning the ignition switch to ON.
OK
MIL lights up.

OK → See step 11
- Check that the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) lights up when turning the ignition switch to ON.
- CHECK CONNECTION BETWEEN TECHSTREAM AND ECM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Check for communication between the tester and ECM.RESULT
Result Proceed to Communication is not possible A Communication is possible B

- CHECK MIL (THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR)
- Disconnect the B36 throttle body with motor assembly connector.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Check the MIL.RESULT

Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the throttle body with motor assembly. Refer to INITIALIZATION [05/2013 - ] .

- Disconnect the A33 accelerator pedal sensor assembly connector.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Check the MIL.RESULT

- Disconnect the B12 oil pressure sensor connector.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.

- Disconnect the B55 camshaft position sensor (for intake camshaft) connector.

- Disconnect the G49 canister pump module connector.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (EACH SENSOR - ECM)
- Disconnect the B36 throttle body with motor assembly connector.
- Disconnect the A33 accelerator pedal sensor assembly connector.
- Disconnect the B12 oil pressure sensor connector.
- Disconnect the B55 camshaft position sensor (for intake camshaft) connector.
- Disconnect the B56 camshaft position sensor (for exhaust camshaft) connector.
- Disconnect the B54 crankshaft position sensor connector.
- Disconnect the G49 canister pump module connector.
- Disconnect the B8 and A18 ECM connectors.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- REPLACE ECM. Refer to REMOVAL [05/2013 - ]
- REPLACE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR (FOR INTAKE CAMSHAFT). Refer to REMOVAL [05/2013 - ]
- REPLACE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR (FOR EXHAUST CAMSHAFT). Refer to REMOVAL [05/2013 - ]
- REPLACE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR. Refer to REMOVAL [05/2013 - ]
- REPLACE OIL PRESSURE SENSOR. Refer to REMOVAL [05/2013 - ]
- REPLACE CANISTER ASSEMBLY. Refer to REMOVAL [05/2013 - ]
