Removal [07/2013 - 12/2013]

NOTE:

If the ECM or ECM bracket needs to be removed, replace the ECM bracket with a new one.

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL  . Refer to REMOVAL [07/2013 - ] - Step 1
  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH  . Refer to REMOVAL [07/2013 - 12/2013] - Step 12
  3. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL [07/2013 - 12/2013] - Step 17
  4. REMOVE CONTROL UNIT RELAY ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL [07/2013 - ] - Step 4
  5. REMOVE ECM 
    1. Disconnect the 4 connectors from the ECM.
    2. Remove the 2 nuts and the ECM.

      NOTE:

      If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it.

  6. REMOVE ECM BRACKET 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws, and remove the ECM bracket.
